Very awkward to use your software for form 1041

I have been a yearly customer for more than 10 years and I find your software for completing for 1040 to be very easy to use. In contrast, inputting the correct information on the 1041 is relatively difficult. Then when the form is complete I cannot file the 1041 electronically. After two years of filing the 1041 with H & R software I have decided to switch to another tax software company for future years.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Except for Foreign Taxes and Error Correction

It is not a bad program, particularly given the price. But the instructions for the Foreign Tax reporting portion (Form 116?) needs a lot of work, and the list of errors at the end simply do not work - I am told to go to a form I do not recognize and make an entry which I do not understand. I view this as a failure in the interview process. It would be good if HR Block would capture all error reports and see if they can use that to improve the interview process.

I’ve been using H&R for years and it made doing my taxes much easier and more accurate. The last few years have offered challenges however; software bugs, incompatibility with Apple devices, server unavailable. I actually had to mail in my return this year because the server was down, I could not file online. This made me very angry.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I've been using it for many years and never had a problem with it until this year. The Federal worked perfectly but the State of CT did not. I had a penalty not paying my estimated taxes enough throughout the year. It computed the form correctly but did NOT print the form or subtract it from my refund. When the state received the tax form, the state sent me a correction. This feature has worked many times in prior years. But I will still be pruchasing it for next year because other wise I think it a great product.
