There were minor issues in the past, but this year I could not file due to system problems n had to wait for over 12 hours before they fixed the issue. I printed my returns n was ready to mail them when they finally fixed the issue.

Good except for the calculation of mortgage intere

for tax year 2020,2021,2022 H&R Block software miscalculated the home mortgage interest. They have corrected it for the tax year 2023.

Last year I had no problem efiling a return with multiple forms 8938 reporting foreign financial assets. This year it would not efile. This caused me a lot of work and time. Apparently Turbo tax customers had no problem filing returns with multiple 8938 forms. HR BLock needs to lkook into this and fix the issue

More difficult & incomplete than previous years

This years program was very different than previous years. The Pennsylvania program in the business portion was completely not user friendly. Most forms had to be completed on your own instead of pulling information from the federal which would have been okay but you could not bring up the form required.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
