I like the software very much until I get to the review process and have to ma navigate through fix errors. It's confusing and clunky. I also experienced embarrassment when my return was denied because of an important missing form. It was a tax credit form for Healthcare insurance I didn't qualify for and I feel the software should've caught.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as convenient as the personal tax software

I've used the personal h&r block tax software for many years, and had occasion this year to need to use the premium and business version. It was nowhere near as easy to use as the personal software is- for some reason it opens telling you that there are no q&a dialogues available and that you just have to fill in the forms. It was too complicated and I finally went to a tax attorney instead
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I run Windows 11 ARM in a Parallels environment on my 2021 MacBook Pro and have been using H&R Block Premium & Business software for many years now. Every year has been great UNTIL the 2025 version. Specifically, the Business version. The software installed just fine but would NEVER run because it always crashed and said it couldn't start the RavenDB server. It apparently had to do with H&R Block coding their software to a specific version of a .NET assembly from Microsoft and never thinking Microsoft might update their software. By tax time NO fix was ever made available from H&R Block.
Although the Premium software worked just fine, the Business software never did for 2025. And for that reason, I will be switching to different tax software next year after almost 2 decades with H&R Block.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used for 10 years, only complaint went to file electronically and state couldn’t file, it didn’t acknowledge that state didn’t file and had to pay for another state filing, didn’t get the 1 free state filing
