The program is very easy to use and walks you through most tax filing requirements. I have used H&R Block tax software for several years and had some issues in the past; most, if not all, of those issues were resolved this year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I was taught by the District IRS Director in 1980 to take advantage of the wording of the law and not give away money to the IRS to avoid being hassled by the IRS. The H&R BLOCK software seemingly does this with the least chance of an audit.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would prefer H&R remember the type of depreciation used from year to year and not default to whatever. Forces me to dig out files and review to make sure the right one is selected. With multiple rental properties, would like program to show me header of which property I am in for each sub section/table.
