Usually has install problems, wont import previous years return. And this years big problem was : I don't know if the software even transmitted my tax return to the IRS.

Good features. Comprehensive Federal program. Easy to follow interviews. State program (MO) missing state credit forms; result being you cannot file electronically - big downside.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

The product was more difficult to use this past year. It would be nice if you explained more. You expected me to know all these tax terms that were unclear and often the questions did not use the same language as my tax forms. I couldn't get the import to work and had to hand enter all my forms. And when I was trying to send the payment, it hung and I had to go back out and try again a few times before I could get it all done. If you print a copy of your form, it wanted me to mail the form, and I had to figure out how to go back and electronically file. And I had to look up the instructions for mailing a check. You gave the option to electronically file, but then it hung after transmitting and I could never get the instruction, so I had to check the IRS website. It seems like you didn't test the program before selling it. You need to test the software more thoroughly.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this tax program for years. However this year as in the last couple the business part is not operating properly. It has become difficult to create payroll documents correctly as the interview section does not open. I recently tried to create a F941 for 2024 1st quarter and somehow it didn’t ask for any information but created the return once I entered the business entity and address information. I am considering going to another program if problem persists. Overall the business section needs work. Other issues that are too not able to be addressed.

I paid more money this year for this software than I have in 10 years, and I'm not even sure that my return was sent. It doesn't say on your software, and I owe money. Which.your software was how I was supposed to pay. I did get an email saying my return was accepted but your software still says it hasn't.
