Fine for small, simple LLC's and C corps, as well as simple individual returns.Easy to miss saving State returns or merged Federal/State Returns.If one gets used to using individual returns, will be bewildered using the business program at first. It's not intuitive. Taxcut/HR Block should have used a parallel format for installation, updating and default locations.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

The whole reason why I buy tax preparation software is for the interview process to help fill out the forms. I have three trust funds that I am the trustee for. This year, for some reason, my state form had no interview. Nothing, but the transfer of data Into the forms. There was no way to know if there was any state specific rules that needed to be applied to my state filing. I was just left hanging in La La Land. next year, I’m going to call ahead and find out if there is an interview for my state form. Unless I get a resounding, yes, I am going to go elsewhere. If there was anyway, I could get my money back for this year, I would pursue it. You advertise that this is supposed to help me prepare my taxes with professional advice. I would say that that was a fraudulent statement this year.

Been using block for years but never again! Server outtage the day before tax day caused me to waste my included efiles! I had a couple returns to submit and after a few attempts over the next 12 to 24 hours the software saw them as used. Ended up having to pay to submit when the servers finally came up on tax day. SO LONG BLOCK!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
