I have used the business software for two years now, what a struggle!! I will have to hire someone next year, because the software makes it WAY too complicated!! Doing personal taxes not a problem, fairly easy….. BUT…. I mailed in a couple of personal returns to state (not worth paying to submit online) and the address the software told me to use landed my returns returned to my home. What a hassle. In all the years (decades) I have been preparing my own taxes, never have had such a struggle. Disappointing. Got the job done… maybe.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like using the H&R block software, however I do have a problem with it. At the end when you're doing the check it will give critical errors that aren't errors. It is terribly annoying. This needs to be fixed.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Every year I struggle with trying to follow the flow of forms between each other. Also, I get so many warnings items that need correcting on the actual tax return and it is nearly impossible to fix them. Very confusing, not user friendly in my opinion. Returns with schedules are difficult.

Nice having tax software that includes both personal and business in one package. Only disappointment was that the software did not support for e-filing the new 2023 Form 7206 (Self-Employed Health Insurance Deduction). Would have had to mail the federal & state tax returns, so I used another tax software program that supported Form 7206 for e-filing personal returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
