I’ve used Block software for years. It’s good the way it follows the tax code, but hard to see the overall picture every time I try to Download my ERRA account it never works. This needs to be fixed Block.
Audit the fence said there was zero chance of being an audit I got audited
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This program was instrumental in making doing the taxes for my complex business operations into a reasonably painless process. I spent more time looking for my own records than fighting with the software. I found the questions helpful to clarify my deductions and types of income and expenses.

Business Tax software is disaster, personal is OK

I will rate the Business Tax software first.
The biggest problem with business tax software '23 is that you don't have to say where is return saved. I filled CorpS return and I had to file it the last day. I was hoping to do that electronically but that is when software broke. It started to shut down and I don't even know where the return is saved so I could reinstall the software. There was no time to do anything. Even when I tried to print it as PDF would shut down the software. Disaster.
I will rethink using that software in future for Business tax.
Personal one '23 was OK. It did what it should. Filed return electronically and everything was fine.

The software and UI are intuitive but the way you must navigate the extra forms is frustrating. And, no matter the effectiveness of the software, it is challenged by an overly complex tax code.
