'Premium' version for personal returns is great, been using H&R for more than 10 years. The 'Business' version I use for the estate tax return however has shown little improvment over the years. Still buggy and getting major errors forcing multiple re-installs.

Does everything is supposed to do. Have used for years. It's very hard to back up and transfer files. I need to work on one return on different computers and it's quite frustrating.
Cons: Hard to import documents

Probably the last time I use this software, used it for 6 years now and it keeps missing things as well as being slow and buggy. My business taxes are incredibly simple and it takes multiple hours to use this software.

Only problem I have is importing 1099 from a stock broker sometimes that churns a managed account results in 100s of transactions that have to be verified by hand. Importing other forms is pretty slick.

Good software, but bugs make it difficult to use

Software seems to work OK, but there is a bug that I called support about, that they acknowledged and said would be fixed in the next program download and was never fixed. This meant that every time I advanced a page, I had to minimize and then maximize to get the prompts into the right place. Very time consuming and just unnecessary.

Cons: Time consuming
