I bought this to prepare the estate return for my mother who died in Sept. Even though I checked estate/trust the program greyed out sale of assets most of the time and wanted me to depreciate the sale of her home.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

When compared to the personal premium program, the business program lags far behind. It is not intuitive, and you really have to be familiar with the law and forms to complete them. The premium personal program leads you through it....the business one assumes you know what you are doing. My financial advisor offered to do our special needs trust returns for us because he feels Block doesn't put enough effort into the business version because it has a low return on that investment. Perhaps, but the product pales compared to the personal one in the program.

We've used H&R block tax software for number of years and found it better comparing to other available tax software. It is more accurate, easier to use, and all around a great product. There a few features that are confusing, and do not provide clear instructions. At the end we figure out what needs to be done, and it would be great if more detailed instructions have been provided
