Navigation Difficult, Audit & Closure Frustrating

The entry process went fairly smoothly, but was difficult to know where to navigate, or which part of which form I am in. Or if I wanted to return to my previous form I was just in I had to renavigate to find it.
The error checks and mismatch
I could not get my depreciation tab to report correctly and resulted in an unresolvable error which led me to have to manually adjust fields.
The audit at the end took forever, locked up the program, and could not readily go to each section to resolve. If you went to one, you had to go back to the audit portion and it would take another 5-10 minutes to compile every time. This resulted in hours wasted frustratingly, and I had to manually correct and mail in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I did 3 electronic files and When I did the fourth electronic file came with an error that was not showed in the error reviews, when I corrected the error and file again, came another error saying that need to upgrade the program although it was on 10/4/24 and the worst was that each error was count as filed when it was not filed and I have to pay to file

Great tax program for the value

Filing a tax return is is quite technical. The program covers the tax rules and it is just a matter of beingPATIENT and taking the time to read the rules slowly. .
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

The 2023 tax software worked pretty well. Luckily, it's update in Sept didn't delete my March/April entries like happened in 2022 version. I don't understand why you can't prevent printing of excess pages where I have NO data. OR, show the pages about to be printed so I can eliminate them. I'm talking about 40 wasted pages of paper and The Ink. Also, you refuse to bring forward carryover information from prior years.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

In general happy but correction of errors to efile is very difficult to solve. Also the H&R California software has NEVER been accepted without they reporting errors. Very frustrating and resulted in penalties and fees. I realize tax reporting is very complex but these software situations have been very frustrating.
