I wanted more from Turbo but HR came through brilliantly.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents

I have been using HR Block software (Premium & Business) for years and I think it is good enough for my needs but it does miss a few things. Form 568 of California is missing in the software and every year I have to fill that up separately. Very often the software also shows warning for some data issues and in spite of fixing it the warning stays on and I have to bypass it. I am actually thinking of trying TurboTax from 2025 onwards.

The personal tax product with 5 licenses is a good deal for a growing family. It has serious bugs in scanning in W2s. It cannot handle W2s that have non taxable income. This is a major bug.
The Business Product is a waste of time. In 2022, I worked around the bugs and crashes. In 2023 I was forced to buy Intuit TurboTax for business as the HR&R Block Business Software crashed at every form. You need a way more stable product.
