Trouble filing the state online. Block software said my federal and state withholding was the same amount. Beings I withheld 10% for both they would be the same. Federal filed online ok online. State had to mailed in as it refused online. Changed my withholding amount for state so they won't be the same next year. Nor sure why the same amount withheld would considered an error.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been using the product for years. This year was the first year I’ve had issues submitting my taxes. The software doesn’t identify the issue and I leaning towards trying another program.

I have to prepare Personal, Business, and Trust returns. The Personal and Business bundle is the most cost effective solution I've found. An added bonus is that I can also talk to a tax professional t the local offices. This combination makes the noticeable difference between the two programs more than acceptable to me.

The software does what it’s supposed to do…mostly. There are always bugs, but when you get the right department, they usually fix them. This year, I had many bugs, and needed to speak with multiple people over the course of a couple of weeks to finally get them corrected.

Great software I’ve used for years now and just keeps getting better. I did pay a little more than I’d expected because for some reason my preseason purchase didn’t go through so I ended up paying full price. Oh well still worth it and way cheaper than having a tax preparer do them
