2024 Premier and Buiness software does not work

I used the download package to file the personal return and the business returns. The personal returns work fine. However when I try to efile the Federal 1120 and CA 100 for the business for the package,, it kept displaying errors about entries for the company’s main information. The company’s info has not changed from year to year. When I talked to software support, he cannot offer any explanation, only suggesting that the next update is at the end of the month. Just download it and see what happen. I am very disappointed. I have been a customer for many years:

It has been a better, lower cost alternative to TurboTax which I used for 30 years. But this year, for state taxes (Virginia), my experience wasn’t so good. There was a particular state form they did not include so it advised me to manually complete it myself and would not support e-filing, but had to print and send via snail-mail (USPS), which significantly delays things. Upon checking, other tax software does support this form so this was a shortcoming of this year’s package. Almost impossible to talk to an actual support person too!
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Business program is so buggy, it is almost impossible to complete the return. The program crashes all the time and it is hit or miss whether it will stay up long enough to make any progress.
The personal side works ok, but hasn’t given the maximum refund in past years. Not able to get any resolution.
This will be the last year I use this program.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

I always use H&R block software to do my taxes. It is very comprehensive and easy to understand and navigate. What I don't like about it is that I have to pay for filing State tax. For the price, this should be included with the Premium program!
