I purchase this version of H&R Block tax software annually. I have done so for about 18 years. I always find it to be very reliable.
The one improvement that I would like to see in the software is full guidance through reporting IRA mandatory minimum withdrawals.

Your software does not allow me to e-file my 1040 because I have a K-1 with a loss and a zero basis. I should be able to enter the loss as a loss carry forward and then e-file rather than have to mail in.

Have used H&R tax software for past 3 years. This year, software loaded correctly, but stopped working after Windows 11 upgrade. Spent 2 hours on phone with call center to partially resolve. Software loads but will not read tax info from prior years, so I have to start from scratch, eating up my valuable time. Call center could not resolve. May go back to TurboTax next year. Software this year is buggy. Problems with Premium and Business versions.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The 1040 software is easier to use than the program for 1041. You should add e filing for 1041 and update 1041 to be similar to 1040 software.

Important to understand Premium and Business are two separate programs. Business program is somewhat clunky. No problems downloading and installing. Be sure to update before electronic filing. Otherwise I was charged twice for state electronic filing. Have disputed duplicate charge with my credit card bank. Hassle! A bug that needs to be fixed by HR.
