I've been using Premium and Business for almost 20 years. I really like the Premium for personal taxes. It is well laid out and leads you through all of the forms for easy entry, by asking you simple questions. I like that it saves your return as a file that can be imported in following years. However, the Business package does not save your return to a file. It remains embedded in the tax software and can only be printed to paper or pdf. Sometimes it can find your previous year's return in the old software version and sometimes it can't. When it can't, you have to re-enter everything from scratch and all of the data from the previous year's print-out. Also, the error check flags things as missing or incorrect, that were entered during the question sessions. It also brings up forms that it says are missing, which relate to questions to which you answered "no." It is fairly cumbersome and non-intuitive and the help info is vague and you end up looking a lot of things up on line.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using HRB app for over 15 years and was a Block local preparer before I retired. For the first time I am disappointed in the Block app. Had to mail in my NC state return. Needed to go to a local Block office for help.

The name says Premium and Business, but only the Business returns were included. I had to purchase the personal return separately. The Business software is not really that good. It has the forms and some sort of interview, however, for most sheets, it required entries to be made directly into the sheets. I could have just as easily printed the PDFs from the IRS and filled them out.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can’t believe how bad the system is and the customer service was worse. A rep hung up on me after she was unable to help me. System wasn’t working and told me I should just “call the irs”. A complete waste of money, use TurboTax instead.
