Have used Turbo Tax for the past 8 years and when they didn’t support my OS this year decided to try HR Block. What a mistake. Navigating the menus is very confusing and the questions as to what to fill in was also lacking. The help prompts are almost worthless.
When running the audit check it kept asking me to verifu]y a y/n question and would not let me answer it correctly, had to override it.
To review the forms by printing a copy, pagination did it exist and they overran the page.
Just a terrible product and will be going back to TurboTax next year, just the online version.

This was the most stressful tax season of the last 20 years all due to a pending update that came out 2 days before filing day. There hasn't been any development to improve the software over the past 8 years or so - the same issues come back every year.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Was unable to e-file due to the fact there is nowhere to put the spouses prior year security response. It was rejected for this reason. None of the 4 or 5 workarounds helped either. Wouldn't it just be easier to put a space to enter both security responses?

I purchased the business version becaused I needed to file a couple of 1041 trust returns. I found it hard to maneuver through the program and then found I couldn’t file electronically. Very disappointing
