The business software was horrible this year. Kept crashing and had many issues trying to file electronically. I've used the software for at least 5-6 years straight now, and never had issues until this year. It was aweful, and I doubt that I will use it again for my 2025 taxes.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You were too complicated leaving wondering what to do: First was the download leaving me wondering what was happening, need communication as to what is being done, a timer is good, tell me what to do every step NO ASSUMPTIONS by IT people! Items in the tax forms are too complex many items I did not know how to answer. I was hung up with fed age 73 plus 401K withdrawal which I closed out but no category to do that. The end review did not help, more issues caused by tax people not being complete and simple. IT people and tax people should never be in charge of instructions, they make assumptions which are failures and confusion.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

The "Premium" side is stellar, but the "Business" program is AWFUL. Every year it is a terrible experience, and every year I am stupid enough to try again. It was less bad than previous years, but still outrageously bad and lazily coded, and with basically zero support available. For example, this year there is a bug that the internal software team knew about that fatally affects *ALL* customer machines with more than 32GB of RAM, but nobody in the organization listened to them or let them fix it. It took me weeks to get a resolution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Long time user of this product and it has been a great benefit and help in preparing my taxes for all that time. A great product for the price. To have a tax preparer do my taxes would cost me at least 4 times as much as the cost of this product, and the results would be exactly the same.

The non-business portion of the software is great. The business software is not great. I could not use last years data. When I used the business software, a foreign ownership form generated, that is not good. I was not able to file electronically.
