Was unable to e-file due to the fact there is nowhere to put the spouses prior year security response. It was rejected for this reason. None of the 4 or 5 workarounds helped either. Wouldn't it just be easier to put a space to enter both security responses?
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the business version becaused I needed to file a couple of 1041 trust returns. I found it hard to maneuver through the program and then found I couldn’t file electronically. Very disappointing
Cons: Time consuming

I bought and have been using about 5 years. Had a few hick ups. I never got to the place to print my quarterly tax submittal. Also was trying to take energy credit for a wood stove catayiltic converter and didnt have the correct form

The LLC and state filings don't work as marketed.

I could successfully complete the 1040 filing... even I had to "Hard coded" some known items to get around. Completing the LLC filing is difficult and unable to efile it. I had to mail it instead.
State tax is a total failure. Numbers were populated incorrectly, even using " hard codes" to overrule, still did ot work. Finally I had to manually file and mailed it. I would not buy H&B Block products again. I gave 3 star rating because at least it worked for my peosonal 1040 filing.
