The system ask for Payers identification number. I entered it in 4 out of 5 forms, the 5th place was entered just like the other 4. When checking for errors, it ask for the payers id again. I entered it over and over. The system was not satisfied. What went wrong?

I have always used Turbo Tax, and was finally ready to try yours.My identity was compromised by Turbo Tax years back and every year my wife has bugged me to try someone else since. I was reluctant since it was familiar. I'm glad I switched.

Not good software. Under the moved for job section the first question they ask is if I military or not. I answer no and they proceed taking me through all the questions and gathering all my costs. Then at the end they say I don't qualify because I want military. They could've told me I didn't qualify at the beginning. There were other issues as well. I won't but this software again.

I have always given this software a 5-star rating, but not this year. The instructions for certain deductions, such as health insurance premiums for seniors, were unclear. The help files were not helpful and didn't even have instructions for seniors who are both retired from regular employment but still self-employed. Also, royalties appeared in the resulting income, but appear as 0 after being entered on the royalty lines. Finally, the items needing attention at the end didn't 'clear' after double-checking (though this has always been a problem).
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still easy and quick but no improvements since over 15 years other than the math. NO NEW FEATURS at all.
Limited report generation. No backward compatibility. Price is fair, but had to pay again, because ID Key would not work when ready to submit. Help not available in time, The AI helper is NO GOOD.
