Bought the software but it was very expensive and when I went back to the website to look again at what I bought, the price was about $25 less! Not sure why it wasn't that price originally but had to proceed. Also, it loaded 2 software on the computer which didn't make any sense. The product is fine but the process of purchasing it was not.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Shady practice for HR Block - 2.4% pay1040 fee!!

I have used H&R Block Premium & Business Software for over a decade. It has all the forms I need, including trust (1041) and business forms. The software produces decent returns but it's clunky to use. The software for the 1040 doesn't match the software for the 1041 so it's necessary to learn each one separately. I dislike that the fonts are small and hard to see -- and it's impossible to make them larger. There's no "select font size" and "CTRL+" doesn't work. I also dislike that the 1040 can't be filed until the Health Care section is filled out -- but H&R Block doesn't provide a link and it's annoying to hunt and find it hidden deep in the software. One thing I like about the software is the ability to import data from the prior year which is what keeps me buying the same brand instead of switching. It's also handy to download data directly from brokerage accounts but the competition probably does that also. Bottom line: I use this software because it has all the forms I need but it could be improved.

I have used the product for several years. Doesn't seem to be improving much. Serious bug that if your state return is not yet available and you go to that step the app quits and every time you relaunch it quits unless you X that error box and back up one step and re-save.
Pros: Easy to import documents

I have used H&R Block software for over 10 years to prepare returns for myself and my daughter. The Deluxe version for state and federal, personal and conservatorship returns. The Business version for state and federal trust returns. A major feature is being able to bring forward last year's information to this year's returns.
