terrible software package. missing features for many of the forms I need and use. Slow and cumbersome to make entries. I understand that rookies use it, but holy cow is it slow.

The personal (1040 series) is acceptable, but even it has unwarranted "warnings". The two I most recently encountered were "Medicare withholding exceeds x% of taxable earnings. So?? It's that way because of IRA deductions, You haven't figured this out YET??? The other was "we notice that you're over 62 but have so social security income listed". Soooo,,, Did it ever occur to you that we are not taking SS yet??? The business product (1120 series) is abysmal. Multiple warnings and errors that I cannot get past to e-file. e.g. balance sheet. NOT REQUIRED under 250,000 in assets, but it still tosses out an not clearable warning. That's only the beginning... I still don't know how i got passed it, but then the IRS acceptance had a ludicrous "message"

Overall, The software worked fine. However, I did have a couple of hiccups. I called to get help and nobody returned my call. So I just submitted the claim. Hopefully it won’t get rejected.

Could not file electronically

None of the default information imported from last year was correct. The print and pdf functions are nonstandard. I have never had trouble filing electronically before. Since the default key was not correct, I had to enter a credit card.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I got what I expected, but it wasn't super user friendly, nor was it really clear what I was doing and jumping around to try and see how things were affected when making updates was very clunky.

Generally speaking, the software is quite good, but I had a terrible time trying to print my partnership return. The software crashed about 40 times and I had to keep re-starting it.
