I have used H&R Block software for the past 10 years. The software is very user friendly and easy to understand. This year was the first year that my filed taxes were rejected. After some research, I found that this year's software did not carry over last year's AGI. Once I figured out what was wrong, I had to override the box with the AGI and type in last year's AGI. I then refiled my taxes and everything was good.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well, have used it for years. However, it continues to get more expensive each year for just a Basic S/W Program. If it does not come down in price next I will use it's major competitor.

Great Program But Estimated Taxes Can Be Improved

The software program, as usual, is easy to use and tax filing is easy. However, the portion of the program that is used to determine estimated taxes for the upcoming tax year is flawed. It does not take into account the Senior Citizens Tax Exemption of $6000 ($12000 for married couple). As a result, the program calculates a tax liability, while the IRS website does not calculate a liability. This should be corrected to avoid ovrepaying tax liability estimated payments during the year.
