missing many good points that previous years had.

This form was much more cumbersome to use. Print is difficult to read. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to have green print on a white background apparently doesn't know much about print design. I miss how the forms would interface with the previous year and did not have type so much of same information.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this basic software for many previous years’ federal income tax returns. Continues to be simple to use and provides excellent guidance and explanations for each step.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I was able to do everything that I needed to fully handle my taxes. This included problems that came up because of unique issues related to dealing with inheritances. The cross over from federal to state forms was also helpful saved a lot of time and easy to do.

I’ve been using your software for years! This is the first time I’ve had concerns. Your techs failed to properly conduct user testing. You have a fatal flaw that kicks the use all the way OUT! It doesn’t appear that any data gets corrupted, but user confidence is eroded!

As usual filling out the form was not difficult and worked well. I have 2 suggestions. You should allow another page of donations. There was not enough space to enter all of our donations. Second -- I think it would be very useful to make available on request a listing of the actual calculation which determines the tax on line 16 from the taxable income on line 15. It should give labeled amounts and calculation operations.
