easy to use and install

I have been using H&R Block basic software for years and it has done a wonderful job of guiding me through my taxes.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

Worked well except for opening files

This year's program would not open tax files of prior years. Previous versions would do this.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare

Easy to use features

I have used H&R for years and find their software very easy to use. My wife died in Dec and while using their state soft wear , they did not support efiling when a spouse dies. Since their fed program supports it, they should fix the state to support and I believe they will.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

Usually a Great Product

I have been using H&R Block Basic for the last 7 years. It has always worked smoothly and has been a quick process. This year was a little more buggy than I would have liked or expected. My refund/amount owed was constantly changing, even when I made no corrections. It made me feel less confident in the product.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to import

EASY PEEZY Accurate

Great software. I especially liked the "what if" capability. The data extraction from our 2016 taxes worked well and saved me a lot of preparation time. Great value. I had no issues this time too.

I have been using this software since 2004, I believe. At that time, it was called Tax Cut. I never have a problem with it and have recommended it to many of my friends.

Great program and very easy to use

I am very impressed with how easy it is to use the program as it simply walks you through your return and you just plug in the needed data.
