The software seemed to work fine. I didn't like the way acronyms were sometimes used without explanation. Acronyms are for insiders, and not having to look them up is part of the reason I use H&R Block software. Other than that, the experience was typically good. The interview approach is very helpful. I've been a Block user for at least 10 years.

I've enjoyed the product for a couple years and it has always been reliable. However, the reason I gave it 3 stars is due to the extreme price increase this year. I started my taxes too late this year to consider other software programs, but definitely will be next year.

I used to like this software but the past couple of years it has been more and more difficult to use. I use it on my Mac and it saves my taxes very differently. I cannot close it out and simply remove it from the dock. When I have issues there is no one, absolutely no one I can talk to. If you want AI help be prepared to pay extra on top of what you already paid for the program. It can be easy to use but also incredibly difficult if there arises any problems.
