I have used H&R Block software for several years. Always been satisfied with it.
I am also an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, and I used to work for H&R Block many years ago. Always been satisfied! : - )

My favorite Tax Software

I'm retired military living overseas and I've been using this software for my tax return since 2003. Except for last year (2017) when the download was blocked for overseas customers, so I had to revert to another popular product. But this year it worked again with no problems and I intend to continue using it as long as possible.
I have one recommendation for improvement: the program should have a built in link, to download next years version to registered customers.

I trust H&R to do it right. I complete the return manually, but file online thru H&R software. It always matches my return worksheets. Thanks much.

Used H&R a couple of years ago but not last year. The tax software I used last year was terrible. H&R Blocks product is excellent. Easy to use and economical. Will continue to use this product in the future.

Good, but made one error...

I have used HR block software for a few years now, and am generally happy with it. However, as simple as my taxes are, I expect the software to be perfect. It imports data from the previous year, which often speeds up the process. Unfortunately, the software added my state tax return from last year to my income from last year even though I took the standard federal deduction last year. I believe the software was confused because I itemized my state return. This error would have cost me over $100 had I not caught it.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Saved me lots of money. MY file is simple, but this made it much easier and I like the efile. Used it last year with no problems.

I bought this about 5 days ago and find this software easy to install and easy to use and complete my taxes. I would recommend this program/software.
