I have been using this software since 1997 and every year it gets easier! Love it.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast

I've been using the H&R Block Basic Software (for my grown children and my 97-year old mother) for the past 5 years. It's excellent! My own taxes are more complicated with rental properties and occasional purchases/sales of homes so I use an accountant. But as far as the basics, this software package is superb with the step-by-step instructions and the free e-filing
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why do I need to download pdf software when I already have adobe reader installed to save retgurn in pdf format?
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use but...

I had a hard time finding a way to bring up my 1099-R, the program got stuck on the 1099-G. Had to use the search option to find the page. Otherwise, the program worked as I expected, and filing was quick and easy.

I purchased this brought it home and had it set up and working on my return within a half hour. My return was completed and filed quickly. The product was easy to use and on the review showed me I had missed a valuable deduction. Pleased with the product.
