Software works well, coordination with IRS not so well. More than one return held for possible fraudulent ID requiring delay and questions that should have been answered during submission.

I am glad that my return was accepted by the IRS and processed very fast. But program had a couple of glitches. First, it used information from the previous year to fill W2 forms instead of 1099R. Then I realized this error, had to return and fill 1099R manually. The second confusion was about IRA mandatory withdrawal. I took a double minimal withdrawal, which made the IRS happy, but program assumed that it was a penalty. Not too smart.

Somehow, I missed the importance of entering my checking account. I overpaid my quarterly payment. The IRS is mailing it to me. I have not seen the check yet. Also I could not access my ID.me. Forgot my password. Now I have to send it quarterly. Not your fault. Next time I could use something on Inheritance taxes.
