Problem Free From Beginning to End... I have yet to have a single problem in downloading, activating, and completing my tax returns. I realize that some have had issues with various phases of acquiring and activating the software, and preparing the tax forms. For seven years, I have never had an issue with this software. I carefully follow instructions and usually complete the process from beginning to end in less than an hour. Admittedly, my returns are rather simple...
Pros: Easy to prepare

I'm retired and could have done my taxes on 1040-EZ if it was still around. Basic gives me all I need to file.

Takes all of the work out of taxes. Just enter your data. Very comprehensive review for completeness and accuracy. Electronic filing very easy. IRS approval fast. Have used his software for years and plan to continue.

Easy Taxes

I have used H&R Block software for many years. It works easily and is accurate. No problems with the product. Will keep using it.
Wish there was a way to have free state file too. I never owe or get refund but have to mail 15 pages to MS. What a waste. Anyway the software works to fill out and then print the state return.

Great software!

I switched to H & R Block years ago because the software is less expensive. I found it to be every bit as good as what I had been using. It is so easy to navigate. Very pleased with the Basic program.

The software is great for people filing a Federal

The Federal tax software is great especially for people who file using the standard deduction. But for a Colo. state return, $19.95 is way too expensive in addition to the basic software cost. Maybe $4.95 extra to file a state return would be more reasonable. A one or two page state return without getting anything back or owning the state anything makes more sense.
I chose a much less expensive way to file my state return as I have done in past years.
I do hope you can consider this for next year's edition of tax software. Otherwise Turbo tax software will be my choice.
Maybe reduce the Federal taxes filed down to 2 or 3 filings per purchase and then add one or two state taxes filed with the purchase of your basic software package. Thanks for your consideration in this matter.
