Easy almost like having a certified tax accountant

Not a good software ..I got stuck on a page that would not scroll. Next program would not let me go back to my work : had to start over ..I never got a h & so hard to use. Never again!!
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Both the basic with the new era of returns in mind and it was a snap. Everything was smooth especially since I filed last year with H&R.

this software required an update for efile that did not work and forced me to have it mailed.

Very good, except

Easy to use and being able to download from financial companies makes it easy. The audit feature makes you go back and verify all the amounts downloaded,which means you still have to download and print from each brokerage.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Missing Amounts

I've used H&R Block for years. This year I had to enter my information a little at a time and accidentally forgot to add numbers into my deductions. All of my charitable contributions had $0. The review didn't catch my mistake and now I have to file an amended return, for both Federal and State taxes, or let them have my money.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
