Requires Too Many Guesses

I had made too much money to deduct my full IRA contribution. I had to call to get this information. The program just ignored my entry instead of giving me the reason.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

Easy instructions; some ideas for improvement

Comprehensive software with easy instructions. Instructions are friendly, and in a language the average person can understand. A good job overall. A few suggestions: If you type in "Goodwill Store" in the donations area, it automatically types in an address in Maryland! This needs a fix. For Indiana taxes, you sat real estate taxes, it says property taxes. Tell us if it's the same thing/explain difference. Again, on Indiana taxes, the Civil Service Annuity deduction needs to tell us WHERE to find it on which line on the 1099-R if that's the originating place (easier to find). You asked me the type of H&R Block tax software I have, but I couldn't find it on the software front page, so I guessed! Importing

Third consecutive year I've used this software, Granted I have a simple return, but so easy and my few mistakes quickly caught and corrected. Plus importing previous year's return saves time. All done in less than 45 minutes!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Thanks for a great product. I tried a free competing product and it hung up my computer when I refused to buy the $19.95 support package. H&R Block is a great product and I will continue to use it.

will not let me file without a form I need, and the program will not supply.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
