When doing the final check for errors, it said the depreciation of rental property form was not up to date. I updated the program and still got the error. AI in the software was useless. Had to call and after going through multiple menus was finally put on hold for 10 minutes. Agent was also unable to figure it out but I finally found the right page that indicated the form would be available in 3 days. Finally got it done but it was painful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this for years and it has always been reliable. My only suggestion would be to add window before e-filing to ask about IP PIN...so returns don't get rejected.

Have used H&R Block Tax Cut software for 12 years. First time I had to file 1040X. Instructions are not very conducive to accomplishing this. Had to call to get correct information on how to file electronically. Although not a generally used process, should be better documented!

I've been using this tax software for more than 20 years. I really like it. But I have 2 suggestions to make it a better product.
1. When printing it out, all the extra pages with the 1040 print out. Most of them are not necessary because there is nothing on them. A waste of paper and ink.
2. When entering 1099-B transactions its a little confusing where to put them.
