Worth the expenditure

Save yourself the trouble of going to a tax preparation specialist or accountant. This software makes even self-employed tax preparation relatively simple.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I've used HR Block for a number of years and appreciate the way it helps with my Social Security tax and shows me how to get tax credits I would not have found.
Cons: Time consuming

My daughter, a CPA, introduced me to your product several years ago.Now we both use it every year for our personal returns. Formerly I did mine manually; had to research the Federal and State regulations and crawl through the morass of detail it required. Your interview format takes the pain out of all this. Ever try to understand Schedule D? Now I can play golf in the Spring instead. Thank you.

Best of all the tax programs

I've used Block for years now. Simple to use. Great instructions when needed. Best of all, no hidden costs. Buy the program and as long as you meet the requirement (almost everyone does) there is up to five FREE e-files, and there is NO charge to process either a payment or refund, unlike a major competitor.
