Obamacare Makes it HARD!

Every year I find the Obamacare portion just IMPOSSIBLE to do.... for several hours at least. My problem, I think, is that I've mistaken the free California Obamacare my son gets for the Healthcare.gov mentioned. You need to show the 1095-A in BIG letters and clearly distinguish and explain how the 1095-B and 1095-C will not work. Calling them "Marketplace" is not at all descriptive.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Eliminate upsell, please!

I buy the BASIC version because I do NOT want lots of bells and whistles. I just want to make sure the math is right, and the data is entered on the right forms. Please don’t try to sell me more stuff in the program. This just annoys me and makes me more likely to make a mistake.
Cons: Time consuming

Easy to use, for the most part

The e-filing of my federal tax return was rejected because my AGI from 2017 didn't match with the IRS. If I had known in advance how to override the amount in the box, that wouldn't have happened.
You should include instructions for that. I assumed that when you said you had my 2017 AGI and would automatically fill it, you would!
Otherwise, it is a real usable product.

H&R BLOCK...NOT... TURBO TAX

I've used Turbo Tax since it came out. The only reason I bought H&R Block is because Office Max was out of the usual tax software I use. After using your software, I will never purchase Turbo Tax again. Love the simple format and it costs less ! You have gained a loyal customer . Thanks

Very well designed and easy to use program which makes filing quick and easy. My returns are very basic and without a lot of extraordinary stuff. I would not have it any other way regardless of how involved and complex my returns are.
