Very cost effective to use the Basic Software for my relatively simple return. It is well organized and saves me several hours of work. Will use in the future and recommend to others

Too many surprise fee’s to file

Would not recommend. Cost additional to download state software and then even more to file state taxes. So you’re paying THREE SEPERATE FEES. Not worth it. It would be cheaper to pay someone to file my taxes for me!!
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I only had problems in one area. The energy credit form (5695) I think. The instructions were nonexistent so I had to go searching to b able 2 fill it out.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

Late Notifications

Went through the program with no issues. Filed a week ago and just got notified that I filed and my return was accepted. I knew this the day after filing by checking the IRS site. Someone needs to wake up out there.
