My tax returns are not complicated. I've been using H&R Block tax software for years and the program guides me right through the paperwork process. I really like the way the software uses previous years return data to fill in the blanks in current filings. The five free e-filings allow me to do my children's returns for them. Makes me a hero!

W2 PDF Import

I used the PDF import of my W2. It said it was successful, but it was not. Fortunately the review caught all the mistakes. I ended up delete the imported version and enter all information manually. I would not recommend using that feature.

After doing my Federal Income Taxes with the H&R Block software 2011-18 without mishap, I downloaded and did my 2019 taxes today. I'm confident, from years of experience, I'll have my refund in the bank in about eight days.
