Simple to use with step by step help from the program. I have been using H&R now for at least seven years and find it just a perfect solution to my federal tax return. I use the basic becasue that is all I need. simple income and tax with all standard deductions. loe that it can find andload allmy information from the previous years return. Iwish my pay program was compatable but it is not so I have to enter all indormation manually. But it is still cool becasue of the step by step program/ I rateittops in my book.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

I have used h r block for many yrs. It fills in a lot of the data from previous filings, making my job very easy. I just plug in the new data.

Either it is the IRS or your inability to make the questions easier to understand. I found it much more difficult this year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
