Can't completely rate, yet.

Only a couple of hickups with a Foreign Tax number. Big problem was, one minute after I e-filed I got a notice my return couldn't be processed and I needed to call an 877 number to fix. Checked web site and only help numbers were 888 or 800 numbers ???
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

H&R always does a solid job

I have used them for several years - no issues at all. I like their optional explanations during the process, the audit review and the easy step-by-step process to get these complicated things done. This year they actually found deductions I NEVER would have on my own. Sorry to say the tax code is no easier than before, but this software makes doing it a breeze.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Missing EFTPS link, or equivalent

The one major feature missing is the ability to pay 2020 estimated taxes through EFTPS or the equivalent.

have been using h&r block software for 10 years. Would not change it carries over previous info allows me to enter manually, I do not like to allow access to my accounts for security. It's ease of us and walk thru help are major points of why I continually use it.

I have been additionally assessed in three tax years because my QCD info apparently isn't clear upon e filing. Or IRS doesn't trust. Likely the latter.

I have used HR Block software for years. Past versions were easier to use. Particular the schedule D entries.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
