Kind of easy yet confusing?

Ended up paying more back taxes than the the previous year with this program, kept trying to upgrade me to other junk? Kept rejecting a dependent and state taxes which confused me even more. Better off going to a real tax preparer next time and pay them to prepare your taxes. Wasted almost two hours on this soft water.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have purchased and used this for the past few years and the only thing that bothers me is that the qualified dividends don't show up or show up as something to correct.

I like this tax software because of the price and because it's easy to use. The convenience of being able to complete the tax filing from the convenience of home and not having to visit a tax preparation provider's office is another advantage.

I have been using Block tax software for past six years and I am totally satisfied. The Basic version can handle everything including itemized deductions and capital gains/losses. I have found it easy to use and very comprehensive. Some reviewers have complained about difficulty viewing forms while data entry is in process. This can be remedied by printing the forms you want to view to a pdf file. The files will then appear as they will be in the final completed return. Electronic submission is a snap and you can submit up 5 returns at no additional cost. Overall a great deal for the price.
