The software is definitely dated. I do taxes for AARP and enter a zip code and tax slayer fills in state and city automatically, Enter EIN and addresses and name automatically fill for major sites.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is another year of my using H&R Block software to prepare my income taxes. Each year the program improves and there are always great "tips" to help address any questions and/or concerns one my find during the prep process.

This downloadable program has handled my fairly complex taxes flawlessly and easily at a very reasonable price using only the Basic edition where competive products would require more expensive upgrades. I've been a decades long satisfied user. I especially like that the program is usually dowloadable in mid November and is complete enough for early tax planning i.e. January's final quarterly payment..
