Not as user friendly

In past years it's format and presentation wasn't nearly as hard to follow as this year's.
At theme it kept pointing to a calculated value in the 1040 that I was unable to alter.
This not nearly as user friendly as it once was.

I have used the software for the past 5 years. It is so easy, you just answer the questions and it pulls info from the prior year. I don't I would get the same amount of refund if I tried to do it manually and would pay a lot more to someone else.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have the most basic tax situation out there. Two pensions. That's it. The software kept making bad errors, as if I were itemizing. I e-filed it, and it virtually disappeared. Was on hold with software support literally for hours, never got to speak with someone. It's junk.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

76 years old and this was my first time using your software and I found it to be very very good and easy to use!

As in previous years, handles most every scenario.
This year, a caution to parents/guardians: software asks for COVID Stimulus payments to you and your spouse, does not account for dependants. If filer does not include amounts paid to dependants, software adjust the return up by the presumed amount owed by IRS. Could result in IRS overpayment.
Otherwise just fine!

I use H&R every year because of the ease and cost of it. I love how it does all the work all I have to do is fill in the blanks, It's so easy.
