Frustrated Filing

I completed all my data entry for my 2021 taxes by 02/01/2022. The program would not allow me to E-File on 02/02/2022. It indicated that I had to update the program with a download dated 02/03/2022. When I did that, it once again indicated that I could not E-File until another update was applied and that is scheduled for 02/17/2022. My filing is not a complex one which mystifies me, very dissapointed.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Low cost and so easy to use!

This software is excellent value for money. I can file taxes for my whole family for one low cost. It is so easy to use and maximizes my refund. I will use this program indefinitely and you should too.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

won't let me file until at leaste the 17th of feb

I bought this program to file my taxes early. It won't let me file until a form is updated with no update expected until at least the 17th of february. I was not informed of this before purchasing.

I have been doing my own taxes with the help of H&R Block for 4 years. I was scared at first because I always paid someone to do it, but I have a straight forward, no dependents, mortgage and property taxes. There are helpful hints along the way if you are unsure of the question. The following years is even easier since H&B has your info on file.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

IRS accepting tax forms Jan 24 I still can't send mine in till Feb 3. WHY?
Cons: Time consuming
