Very good, but some concerns

I’ve using your software to do my taxes for many years and am generally satisfied with it. But there are some problems:
First of all, I’m irritated that I can’t create itemized lists of, say, charitable deductions by importing an Excel spreadsheet. Instead, I have to manually re-create them.
Second, the print on your screens is just too small. I wish there was a way to zoom in and out to read the screens more easily. I’ve tried copying some of the text into Word, but can’t even do that. You should remember that there are many of us septuagenarians out there whose eyes are no longer young.

I’ve used H&R for several years and would highly recommend it. Easy to follow the step by step. Great software for the average filer.

A great Experience for the money

I only had one or two hang-ups but was able to overcome them by re-entering data.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Not the software quality it used to be

I have used this software for over 15 years..even back when it was called TaxCut. I never had so much trouble as this year. I had to resubmit and it got rejected 3 times. Eventually I had to manually enter everything again while watching the software to make sure it did not mess up the forms again. The help people were not familiar with the error messages. The code of the message did not match the verbiage the program gave me either. Sloppy programming!!!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Many features worked well, like the import from Vanguard.
I do not go through all the steps without going back to add and review. This navigation is not as simple as it could be. My old TurboTax did a better job of this. Some of the "fixes" could be clearer and more intuitive to fix. After the "fix" please take me back to where I was in review.

Easy to use once it’s downloaded

I have used H&R Block Tax Software for years. I love the ease of using it and that it transfers my data from my previous year’s return! I did have a little trouble with the actual download process this year but I figured it out!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!
