MAKES FILING FEDERAL RETURN EASY AND QUICK

I am a senior citizen who prepares my husband and my tax returns. It doesn't take long to prepare our taxes with pensions, annuities, etc. My one complaint: The software doesn't recognize the taxable amount of my annuity on my CSA-1099R. It uses the distribution amount as the taxable amount, which is incorrect, Other than that, I like this program.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

have used hr block for years. i have never been so confused for 2021 taxes. will use turbo tax next year. i have zero confidence that my state taxes have been filed correctly!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using H+R Block Tax Software for awhile... for some reason,
importing last year's info wasn't as smooth as before... other than that,
straightforward and clear! I like that you can move around to different sections
of your return, as you get your tax information- W2s...etc!!

I’ve been using this software since 2014 without any problems. Last year and this year not so good. It failed to import previous year’s FIT return data, it failed to transmit, help line instructed me to save and start over, and it failed to effectively save causing me to reenter all my data. Importing previous return data would be a huge time saver and would help eliminate transcription errors.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One needed change--TN no longer has an income TAX

The state of Tennessee NO longer has a state income Tax.
TN needs to be added to the list of states without income in the instruction as well as in other places in the forms.

I've used H&R software for simple returns for 7 years. Never any issues until this year. Never again!
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
