Horrible NYS

The error checking for filing NY return told me there was a issue that needed to be fixed before I could efile. The issue had to do with state distribution code on a 1099-R. The instructions on how to fix it did not match the form.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used H&R Block tax software more than a decade simply because it's accurate, intuitive and good price. Highly recommended!

Have been notified at least 13 times that my return had been sent to and received by the IRS. You better check your system !!!!!

Emails Don’t Stop

I’ve submitted one return and normally your get one email stating tax return was submitted and another one saying tax return accepted. I’ve received more than 51 emails and it’s been less than 24 hours that I’ve submitted it. It needs to stop.

This is the third year in a row I’ve used your tax software after switching from TurboTax which I used for longer than a decade. I like H&R Block better. The basic product is fine as long as your state has no income tax.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
