Program kept crashing on me over and over again...

I have used H&R Block tax software for over 10 years now for my personal tax yearly tax return needs and have been very happy until this year. The program constantly crashed on me while trying to do my taxes and while trying to submit them to the IRS. I had to restart the program over and over again (each time it crashed). And if I had not just performed a save, I lost all my prior work - very, very frustrating. It took me at least 5 times as long as it should have to do my taxes. I am seriously considering another tax program next year.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than Turbotax

Bought this a few days ago and e-filed my return today. I like that the program guides you through, but you can also look at the individual forms if you want (can't do this on Turbotax).
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I’ve probably been using H & R Block tax software for about 10 years, from my more complicated years with state returns, etc, to the simpler years now. The software is easy to follow & includes explanations on harder to understand subjects. I’ve never had a problem with it.

Have been using H&R Block Basic for many years. Easy to use. Handles Job/Retirement/Interest Income and Brokerage Info.
