I used to use TurboTax Basic, but became dissatisfied when it no longer supported itemized deductions. I've used H&R Block Basic tax software for years now and have had a very good experience with it. Using an interview type format, it walks you through your return and answers all your questions along the way. I had one question this year that I could not find the answer to, called the support number, and was called back quickly by an advisor that answered the question.
I'm very pleased with the H&R Block Basic software and highly recommend it.

What's Wrong with H&R this year??

I have tried to submit my return 4 times and all have been rejected by the IRS. Block repeatedly states an "software repair is being loaded but none have fixed the problem. Ill use something else next year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
