The H & R Block is an accurate and easy to use tax software. I have used it several years. I have never had problems with IRS or my refunds. I will continue to use these programs as the keep them updated with changes in the tax code.

Good software, just be careful what you are buying

The H&R Block Basic software does a good job of figuring out and submitting your taxes. I've used it for several years now without any problems. Just be careful what you buy. Somehow, when I went to purchase it I got into a page that gave me last years software when I thought I was getting a good deal. I had to purchase again the correct software for 2022. If the page you purchase from doesn't list the year, don't buy it there!

There was a calculation error in the program. I explained it to them and they set up a case but never responded and never corrected it. I had to use another program or over write the error but then I would have had to mail in the return. I used another program to get corrected numbers.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
