almost good,not for a novice

I had a problem knowing where to place my RMD I had to guess. Then the transfer from 2022 to 2033 AGI was different from what line 11 was. last yr and the IRS rejected the return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great tool !

I have used H&R Block software for our taxes for years. I am always so happy and surprised how easily it navigates through each step, each form. I especially like the accuracy review as it adds the confidence that everything has been done correctly.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good layout but charged me twice filing for State

Been using the software for years. Normally no issues but did get audited few times due to unknown reasons, may or may not H&R but my faults. I did make one mistake this time and got rejected. Fixed it in one second then refiled. However, I was asked to pay the State filing again and I did. Just believe that it is not fair.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Pretty good program but problems

Pretty good software. I've used it several years and will continue. However, it allows you to enter data for several types of 1099 forms into a "worksheet." However, if you enter data directly into the 1099-MISC worksheet, it will demand a link to a "parent" form with no explanation as to what this is. It created a major problem. Also, when you print a form it prints a tiny version of the form in 1/4 sheet of paper. I could never circumvent this. I reported this last year but it hasn't been fixed. This is not software for amateurs.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use

This is the 2nd year I've used this software, after many years of TurboTax. The only complaint that I found really annoying is: if I imported my 1099s more than once, the software did not warn me that the file existed and did I want to overwrite it. It simply added them all again, doubling my income, expenses, etc. providing quite a shock with what it would owe! I had to go find and eliminated the duplicates.
Pros: Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!
